What You’ll Do

  • Draft high-quality patent applications in the electrical and/or mechanical arts for sophisticated corporate clients.
  • Prosecute U.S. and foreign patent applications with a focus on clarity, efficiency, and long-term portfolio value.
  • Use proprietary AI and automation tools to streamline drafting, prosecution, and docket management.
  • Apply data and analytics to inform strategy, from claim drafting to examiner outreach.
  • Partner directly with inventors and in-house counsel to understand technologies, align on strategy, and deliver timely, business-focused solutions.
  • Collaborate with a remote team of colleagues through regular virtual huddles, messaging, and one-on-one mentorship opportunities.

What You Bring

  • At least 2 years of recent experience in patent preparation and prosecution, with a focus on electrical or mechanical technologies.
  • A degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Physics, or a closely related field.
  • USPTO registration and current residence in the United States.
  • Experience with semiconductors and/or 5G wireless is a strong plus.
  • Strong writing, analytical, and communication skills, with an eye for detail and quality.
  • Comfort working with technology and an interest in using AI and automation to enhance your practice.
  • A proactive, collaborative mindset and a commitment to excellent client service.
