You can learn about our benefits here: https://humanresources.baltimorecity.gov/hr-divisions/benefits<br><br><strong>Job Summary:<br><br></strong>A Quality Assurance Analyst provides operational review and evaluation of programmatic documentation to determine validity and compliance in accordance with program policy and procedures. The work of this class involves no supervisory duties or responsibilities.<br><br>Employees receive close supervision from an operational supervisor. Employees in this class work a conventional workweek that will include occasional evening and weekend work. Work is performed both in an office and at locations of cameras throughout Baltimore City and requires minimal to no physical exertion. Candidates will be required to walk/stand in the outdoors for extended period of time.<br><br><strong>Minimum Qualifications:<br><br></strong><strong><em>On or before the date of filing the application, each candidate must: <br><br></em></strong><strong>Education:</strong> Have a bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university.<br><br><strong>AND<br><br></strong><strong>Experience:</strong> Have two years of experience in reviewing processes for accuracy and completeness and identifying errors and invalid documentation that do not meet minimum thresholds.<br><br><strong>OR<br><br></strong><strong>Equivalency Notes:</strong> Have an equivalent combination of education and experience.<br><br><strong>Licenses, Registrations, and Certificates: </strong>Have a valid Maryland Class C Noncommercial driver's license or an equivalent driver's license and eligible to obtain a Baltimore City driver’s permit. <strong>PROVISIONAL DRIVER’S LICENSE OR LEARNER PERMITS ARE NOT ACCEPTABLE.<br><br></strong><strong>NOTE:</strong> <strong>YOU MUST UPLOAD A COPY OF YOUR VALID DRIVER’S LICENSE WITH APPLICATION AT TIME OF APPLYING.<br><br></strong><ul><li>APPLICATION DEADLINE: Please submit your application no later than 12:00 AM on the closing date to be eligible for consideration. **<br><br></li></ul><strong>Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:<br><br></strong><ul><li>Knowledge of modern office methods and procedures, computer equipment, filing systems, business letter and report writing techniques.</li><li>Knowledge of statistical and record keeping principles and procedures.</li><li>Ability to effectively communicate with the public, vendors, contractors and City staff, verbally and orally.</li><li>Ability to perform technical operational work.</li><li>Ability to make independent judgment with speed and accuracy.</li><li>Ability to compile and prepare clear and concise reports, correspondence, policies, procedures, and other written materials.</li><li>Ability to organize and prioritize a variety of projects and multiple tasks in an effective and timely manner.</li><li>Ability to collect, compile, analyze and interpret operational and technical information and data in an effective manner.</li><li>Ability to conduct operational and organization studies and make recommendations for improvements.</li><li>Ability to follow both written and verbal directions and instructions.<br><br></li></ul><strong>Additional Information<br><br></strong><strong>Background Check<br><br></strong>Eligible candidates under final consideration for appointment to positions identified as positions of trust will be required to complete authorization for a Criminal Background Check and/or Fingerprint must be successfully completed.<br><br><strong>Probation<br><br></strong>All persons, including current City employees, selected for this position must complete a mandatory six-month probation.<br><br><strong>Eligibility<br><br></strong>Qualified candidates will be considered for vacancies as they arise, for a period of at least six months. The decision of the Director of Human Resources with respect to acceptable minimum qualifications is final.<br><br><strong>Education Accreditation<br><br></strong>Applicants’ education must be obtained from an accredited institution. Education credentials obtained out of the US must be evaluated for US equivalency. Evaluation agencies information may be obtained at www.naces.org.<br><br><strong>Selection Process<br><br></strong>All candidates indicating the minimum qualifications on their applications will be placed on the eligible list without further examination.
