We are looking to add to our dynamic, dedicated, and talented team with a top-notch Paid MediaSales Executive with a great work ethic, and Paid Media expertise, who thrives in organizations that are evolving and leading the way we do marketing.

Job Summary:
SmartBug's Sales Executive, Paid Media reports to the VP of Sales, and is responsible for executing our sales methodology, properly forecasting sales numbers for new accounts, and achieving quotas each month. This role will be responsible for developing pipeline through outbound efforts, managing inbound leads and supporting existing business upsells and cross sells.

Responsibilities and Duties:

    • Close new business consistently at or above quota level
    • Sell paid media services to businesses looking to improve their paid media strategies
    • Sell paid media services to franchise networks
    • Work collaboratively with other sales members to find opportunities and attach paid media services to existing deals
    • Expand new and existing franchise network business with SmartBug
    • Find new prospects from both inbound and self-sourced leads
    • Work collaboratively with internal service team during cross-selling opportunities and function as the paid media sales expert on the team
    • Manage all aspects of the sales funnel, from qualification to close
    • Participate in the development and execution of your target account list and partner with marketing and fellow sales executives to build effective programs to penetrate accounts
    • Write outbound sales sequences that leverage marketing content and campaigns to convert interested prospects into qualified leads
    • Call and email prospects within our ICP to generate business opportunities
    • Conduct needs assessment calls with sales qualified leads, leveraging your business & paid media acumen from past experience consulting on and selling paid media services
    • Demonstrate acumen by providing analysis of prospects’ paid media efforts and recommendations for improvement
    • Respond to sales inquiries via email and phone as assigned
    • Engage in intelligent, prescriptive, and educational-based outreach to expose good fit clients to SmartBug’s offerings
    • Maintain pristine CRM records and accurate pipeline forecasting within HubSpot
    • Monitor performance against key performance indicators and implement improvement strategies, as required.
    • Become a true evangelist of SmartBug’s employee advocacy program
    • Rock the future customer experience by demonstrating your marketing expertise to identify pains and architect solutions that are best for the customer’s business needs

Requirements:

    • Successful track record of selling paid media services is a requirement
    • Experience carrying a personal quota of over $1 million annually with a proven track record of success meeting and exceeding monthly sales targets
    • Comfort with HubSpot CRM best practices and sales enablement tools
    • Superior communication skills, whether on video conference, phone calls, in-person, or written communication
    • The ability to assess business problems and prescribe solutions as they relate to sales and marketing initiatives for our clients
    • An innate hunger and the self-discipline to grow, as well as a willingness to help others succeed
    • Alignment with our values
    • Experience selling services or solution based offerings
    • Experience working with clients on paid media strategy and execution, preferred
    • Franchise sales experience, preferred
    • Experience working remotely preferred
