Senior Program Manager and Finance Portfolio Manager

This is a remote position, so you'll be working remotely from your home. You may occasionally visit a GoDaddy office to meet with your team for events or meetings.

This position is not eligible to be performed in Alaska, Mississippi, North Dakota, or the Virgin Islands.

Join Our Team... We are looking for a transformation-minded Senior Program Manager and Finance Portfolio Manager who can lead complex, cross-functional Finance and corporate operations programs from strategy through execution. This role owns overall Finance portfolio management and reporting, partners closely with financial technology solutions on portfolio tooling improvements, and drives access to priorities, delivery progress, risks, dependencies, and measurable outcomes. The role is also passionate about redesigning end-to-end workflows, aligning senior collaborators, and delivering balanced transformation across process, policy, data, systems, safeguards, and company-wide change!

What you'll get to do...

  • Lead Finance transformation efforts through complete processes including Procure-to-Pay (P2P), Record-to-Report/Close-to-Report, People Operations-to-Payroll, as well as matters related to ownership interests, taxation, income management, cash management, and Accounting.
  • Work alongside leaders from Finance, Accounting, Tax, People, Legal, Procurement, Product, Engineering, and Operations to craft future operating models, transformation strategies, and business priorities.
  • Host workshops to refine processes, policies, data, technology, controls, and organizational setup. Oversee projects from initial planning to completion, covering argument development, task prioritization, governance setup, participant engagement, value measurement, current-state analysis, and process redevelopment to simplify workflows, improve employee experience, enhance controls, cut turnaround time, and expand automation.
  • Set up governance, manage risks, define success indicators, and handle executive reporting. Supervise the Finance transformation portfolio by partnering with Finance Systems and cross-functional teams to boost reporting and delivery tracking, ensuring technology and AI solutions meet business needs.
  • Explore and apply new technologies such as AI, automation, analytics, workflow tools, and agentic solutions.
  • Collaborate with senior leaders to remove blockages, coordinate teams, and quicken delivery.
  • Direct change management, communication, user adoption, and readiness efforts to guarantee successful implementation.
  • Foster continuous improvement and adherence to guidelines across Finance transformation initiatives.

Your experience should include...

  • Over 8 years of experience managing complex cross-functional transformation initiatives across Finance, Accounting, Tax, Revenue, People Operations, Procurement, Treasury, or Shared Services, combining consulting and industry expertise. Background in management consulting, advisory, transformation, or Big 4 firms is preferred.
  • Established track record in directing enterprise transformation efforts, including operating model redesign, governance, policy, process refinement, and organizational change, accompanied by strong familiarity with full lifecycle processes like Procure-to-Pay, Record-to-Report, Payroll & Equity, Tax, Revenue, Treasury, and Financial Planning & Analysis.
  • Experience in leading executive workshops, strategy discussions, process development sessions, and decision-making meetings. Able to influence senior partners, manage complex organizations, and create alignment across teams.
  • Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving abilities, with the capacity to link business strategy, processes, data, technology, and people to achieve business outcomes.
  • Hands-on experience with enterprise platforms such as Workday, Vertex, reporting and analytics tools, workflow automation platforms, AI tools, and portfolio management tools like Jira. Experience using AI to improve decision-making, automate work, enhance efficiency, and support business transformation.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and executive communication skills, with the ability to build arguments, executive presentations, and transformation updates. Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, adapting to changing priorities, and exploring new technologies and innovative approaches.

You might also have...

  • MBA or advanced degree in Business, Finance, Technology, Organizational Development, or a related field.
  • Experience managing Finance, Accounting, Tax, Revenue, Procurement, or People transformation initiatives within a technology or digital-first company.
  • Experience with operating model development, shared services transformation, process excellence, design thinking, Lean, Six Sigma, or similar methodologies.
  • Experience implementing AI-enabled business processes, intelligent automation, digital assistants, Copilot technologies, or agent-based solutions.
  • PMP, PgMP, Prosci, Lean Six Sigma, or other certifications related to transformation.
