About the Role

As a Remote Recruiter, you'll play a key role in executing Wis-Pak's talent acquisition strategy for one or more of our plant facilities. You'll be responsible for sourcing, screening, and hiring high-quality hourly and salaried candidates across departments. You'll partner closely with hiring managers to understand staffing needs, develop recruiting strategies, and manage the full-cycle hiring process—all while delivering an exceptional candidate experience.

What You'll Do:

  • Collaborate with hiring managers to understand job requirements and staffing needs.
  • Source and attract qualified candidates through job boards, Boolean searches, social media, referrals, and LinkedIn Recruiter.
  • Leverage recruitment resources including colleges, grassroots efforts, military, and community partnerships.
  • Review resumes, conduct phone screens, and assess candidate qualifications and cultural fit.
  • Schedule and coordinate interviews, ensuring a smooth and positive candidate experience.
  • Manage the full recruitment cycle, including offer negotiation and onboarding.
  • Track and report key metrics like time-to-fill and cost-per-hire, and recommend process improvements.
  • Maintain a strong pipeline of candidates to fill roles quickly and efficiently.
  • Ensure compliance with employment laws and company policies throughout the hiring process.

What We're Looking For

You're a proactive, organized, and people-focused recruiter who knows how to connect talent with opportunity.

You'll Bring:

  • Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States on a permanent basis. The company will not sponsor employment visas now or in the future
  • 3–5 years of experience as a Recruiter or Talent Acquisition Specialist, with a focus on hourly/salary hiring.
  • Proven success working virtually and managing multiple roles across locations.
  • Strong knowledge of sourcing strategies, interviewing techniques, and recruitment best practices.
  • Experience with ATS platforms and recruitment tools.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage candidates and collaborate with hiring managers.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • High attention to detail, professionalism, and discretion.
  • Experience in staffing agencies or recruiting firms (preferred).
  • Familiarity with social media platforms, ATS systems, and candidate assessments (a plus).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Bachelor's degree in HR, Communications, or a related field (preferred).
  • Willingness to travel up to 25%.
  • Must reside in the EST or CST time zones.
