• Identify and implement process improvements across SAP cost accounting, inventory close, overhead allocation, master data, reporting automation, and close efficiency.

• Support internal controls, audit requests, accounting policy compliance, reconciliations, journal entries, and documentation related to cost accounting and inventory.

Here’s What You’ll Need (Basic Qualifications)

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field.

• Minimum 5 years cost accounting experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably within biotechnology, pharmaceuticals, life sciences, medical devices, or another regulated industry.

• Strong understanding of standard costing, inventory valuation, overhead allocation, cost absorption, process order settlement, and manufacturing variance analysis.

• Experience with SAP cost objects, cost centers, activity types, statistical key figures, allocation cycles, process orders, production orders, material masters, BOMs, recipes, routings, and cost estimates.

• Experience with Hyperion, Oracle EPM, Essbase, Smart View, or similar planning and reporting tools.

• Broad knowledge of accounting principles beyond cost accounting, including month-end close, accruals, reconciliations, financial reporting, internal controls, and audit support.

• Demonstrated experience supporting SAP-related process improvements, system enhancements, reporting enhancements, or finance transformation initiatives.

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Here’s What You’ll Bring to the Table (Preferred Qualifications)

• CPA, CMA, MBA, or another advanced degree preferred.

• Experience in a GMP manufacturing environment.

• Experience with SAP Material Ledger, actual costing, product cost planning, cost component structures, allocation cycles, and settlement processes.

• Experience supporting annual standard cost cycles, new product costing, manufacturing network changes, site launches, or SAP process optimization initiatives.
