About the position

As a Nurse Recruiter with Ventura MedStaff, you will be responsible for prospecting, sourcing, developing, and retaining high-quality nursing and allied health professionals to support staffing needs across our client facilities. This role involves making outbound phone calls, sending communications via texting and email, and the ability to utilize multiple platforms simultaneously. You will promote the company to travelers by highlighting our value and opportunities, negotiating pay packages, assignments, and contract terms to align traveler expectations with client requirements while upholding organizational standards and ensuring a positive and compelling candidate experience. The role also includes prospecting databases and lead sources for new healthcare professional candidates, determining applicant qualifications through interviewing and verifying references, and managing candidates through the entire placement process, including interview, travel, housing, and assignment. You will also be responsible for retaining and developing current candidates through extensions or reassignments, resolving customer complaints professionally, and managing disciplinary actions and terminations in accordance with state laws and company policy. Additionally, you will manage the full work agreement lifecycle, including monitoring contract timelines and processing updates, and provide high-quality service to clients by collaborating with the Nurse Client Management team to match candidate skills with client needs. You will also provide constructive and timely performance evaluations and oversee traveler timecards, including reviewing and approving time off requests, verifying and managing overtime, and correcting missing punches to ensure accuracy and timely submission. The position requires consistently meeting established KPIs and achieving assigned sales goals by driving revenue-generating activities, maintaining a strong pipeline, and executing effective sales strategies. A basic understanding of traveler policies and guidelines is also necessary to ensure alignment with company standards.

Responsibilities
