Amy Howard at Home is a leading DIY and home décor brand helping customers transform furniture, cabinetry, home décor, and creative projects through innovative products, education, and inspiration.
We are looking for a detail-oriented Shopify e-commerce specialist to partner with our team to maintain, optimize, and continue improving our online shopping experience.
POSITION OVERVIEW
We are seeking an experienced Shopify specialist for ongoing support (approximately 5–10 hours per week), with additional hours available during product launches, promotions, and larger website initiatives.
This role is ideal for someone who loves Shopify, understands e-commerce best practices, and enjoys helping product-based businesses create an organized, seamless, and high-converting shopping experience.
You will work alongside our internal marketing and operations team to execute website updates, support launches, improve product merchandising, and proactively recommend opportunities to improve conversions, increase average order value, and enhance the customer journey.
We are looking for a long-term partner who can grow with the brand.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Shopify Product & Launch Management:
-Upload and launch new products on Shopify
-Create and optimize product pages
-Organize product images, videos, and educational assets
-Ensure products are categorized correctly
-Create product bundles, kits, and promotional offers
-Set up product tags, collections, navigation, and related products
-Test launches to ensure everything is accurate before going live
Faire Wholesale Support:
-Create and update Faire product listings
-Assist with wholesale product launches
-Build Faire collections and bundles
-Ensure pricing, imagery, descriptions, and inventory details are accurate
-Recommend ways to improve the wholesale customer experience
Product Listing Optimization:
-Optimize product titles, descriptions, and customer-facing content
-Improve product pages using Shopify and e-commerce best practices
-Add FAQs, tutorials, instructions, and educational resources where needed
-Identify opportunities to make products easier to understand and purchase
Collections & Website Merchandising:
-Create and manage collections
-Improve website organization and navigation
-Build seasonal and promotional collections
-Recommend cross-sell and upsell opportunities
-Improve how customers discover and shop products
Conversion & Customer Experience:
-Review product pages and the customer journey
-Identify opportunities to improve conversion rates
-Recommend ways to increase average order value
-Improve mobile shopping experience
-Share Shopify best practices and recommendations with our team
SHOPIFY APPS & INTEGRATIONS
Experience preferred with Shopify apps such as:
-Klaviyo
-Bundles/bundling apps
-Shopify Search & Discovery
-Loyalty/rewards programs
-Upsell and conversion apps
IDEAL CANDIDATE:
You are:
-Highly experienced with Shopify
-Familiar with Faire or wholesale e-commerce platforms
-Experienced with product-based brands
-Detail-oriented and organized
-Comfortable executing tasks while also bringing ideas and recommendations

HOURS & GROWTH OPPORTUNITY:
Approximately 5–10 hours per week ongoing, with increased availability during product launches, promotions, and larger e-commerce projects.
We are looking for a long-term partner, not a one-time contractor. As Amy Howard at Home continues to grow, there is potential for this role to expand into a larger e-commerce support position.
