Job Description We’re seeking an experienced web designer/developer to build a high-end residential interior design website using a Squarespace template we’ve already selected and purchased. The site should feel refined, editorial, and design-forward, aligned with luxury residential interior design firms. We already have written content and imagery, and are looking for someone to thoughtfully integrate, refine, and elevate everything into a cohesive final website. Template reference: Scope of Work - Build and customize a Squarespace website using the provided template - Integrate existing written content and imagery - Establish the site on our custom domain via Hostinger - Ensure responsive design across desktop, tablet, and mobile - Apply strong visual hierarchy, spacing, and typography consistent with luxury design brands - Light Photoshop work as needed (minor photo retouching, cropping, tonal adjustments) - Optimize images for web performance without sacrificing quality - Basic SEO setup (page titles, meta descriptions, image alt text) - Required Experience - Proven experience building Squarespace websites - Prior work with interior design, architecture, or creative studios strongly preferred - Strong eye for layout, typography, and visual restraint - Comfortable working with customizing templates (not just plug-and-play) - Familiarity with Hostinger or similar hosting/domain setups Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop for light image refinement - Ideally candidate to Have Experience working with high-end residential design firms - Understanding of portfolio-driven sites (project storytelling, image sequencing) - Ability to advise on subtle refinements to improve clarity and polish - Fully built, live Squarespace website on our domain - Clean, organized backend for easy future updates - Final review and light revisions post-launch Timeline Target build: 2–4 weeks from kickoff We’re ready to begin immediately!
