About the Role Our client is seeking a highly analytical and data-driven HR Data Analyst to join their team. This is a fully remote position, offering the flexibility to work from anywhere within the US. The HR Data Analyst will be responsible for collecting, analyzing, and interpreting HR data to provide insights that support strategic decision-making, workforce planning, and the improvement of HR programs. You will work closely with various HR functions and business leaders to identify key metrics, develop reporting dashboards, and present findings in a clear and actionable manner. The ideal candidate possesses strong technical skills in data analysis and visualization tools, coupled with a solid understanding of HR principles and metrics. This role is crucial for enhancing our data-informed approach to talent management and organizational effectiveness. The company is based in Portland, Oregon, US , but this position is fully remote. Key Responsibilities Collect, clean, and organize HR data from various sources, ensuring data accuracy and integrity. Develop and maintain HR dashboards and reports using data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI). Analyze HR metrics related to recruitment, retention, compensation, performance, and employee engagement. Identify trends, patterns, and insights within HR data and provide actionable recommendations to stakeholders. Support workforce planning initiatives by providing data-driven forecasts and analyses. Collaborate with HR and business leaders to define key performance indicators (KPIs) and reporting requirements. Ensure data privacy and security protocols are followed. Stay updated on HR analytics best practices and emerging technologies. Present complex data findings in a clear, concise, and understandable format to non-technical audiences. Requirements Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Economics, Human Resources, or a related quantitative field. 3-5 years of experience in HR analytics, data analysis, or a similar role. Proficiency in data analysis tools such as Excel, SQL, and statistical software (e.g., R, Python). Experience with data visualization tools like Tableau or Power BI. Strong understanding of HR principles, metrics, and terminology. Excellent analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills. Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to translate data into insights. Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects in a remote setting.
