Monitors and evaluates competitive media spending for sales categories. Understands the premium online video industry and the challenges facing a typical marketer or agency. Acts as a key contributor in a complex and crucial environment. This role requires a highly motivated sales professional with deep programmatic expertise, strong industry relationships, and a proven ability to develop new business, build executive-level partnerships, and exceed revenue goals through cross-functional collaboration.<p style="text-align:inherit"></p><p style="text-align:left"><b>Job Description</b></p><p><b>Core Responsibilities</b></p><ul><li>Responsible for hitting revenue targets for book-of-business by prospecting, selling and driving revenue growth.</li><li>Maintains up-to-date customer and prospect records as instructed and participates in development of sales forecasts.</li><li>Understands client’s business model, objectives, key performance indicators (KPIs), key partnerships, and organization structure in order to provide the best value on behalf of the company.</li><li>Provides insight into customer challenges, needs, and opportunities to cross-functional stakeholders including product, marketing, engineering, customer success, and sales leadership. </li><li>Serves as an escalation point for key customer issues around pricing and commercial agreements.</li><li>Provides and executes on feedback regarding new product additions and existing product definition.</li><li>Completes required documentation and reporting for the proper processing of contracts, advertising schedules and call expense reports.</li><li>Familiarity with online media buying and selling processes (upfronts & scatter), along with knowledge of demand-side platforms (DSPs), supply-side platforms (SSPs), and Ad Serving technologies.</li><li>Responds to requests for proposal (RFPs) and prepare customized proposals to win new business.</li><li>Proactively utilizes prospecting tools to drive new agency and advertiser revenue.</li><li>Develops relationships with executive stakeholders at key accounts within book of business.</li><li>Sales travel is involved when needed.</li><li>Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance.</li><li>Regular, consistent and punctual attendance.
